Lawyer
Zoe completed her Masters of Juris Doctor at Monash University in December 2020. Previous to this, she graduated from her Bachelor of Business Law at Monash University in November 2016. Zoe was admitted as a practising lawyer in January 2022.
Zoe joined Carina Ford Immigration Lawyers in 2019 as a Paralegal whilst completing her masters degree. As a paralegal, Zoe assisted supervising lawyers in both administrative and legal tasks, including the handling of client correspondence, preparations of visa applications, drafting submissions and preparing court briefs.
Since joining CFIL as a Trainee Lawyer, Zoe has assisted in a range of matters which consist of humanitarian, citizenship, partner, student and skilled visa applications, as well as visa cancellations and refusals. Further, she has assisted in preparing matters before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal / Federal Circuit Court as well as requests for Ministerial Intervention.
Zoe’s interest in migration law has grown from her professional experience, which in turn has built a strong foundation of knowledge within the field. Zoe looks forward to being admitted in the upcoming year and being able to assist on further migration cases
