Lawyer
Josephine completed her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts at Deakin University in October 2018. Before joining CFIL, she assisted a wide range of clients while working as a Legal Assistant in the areas of family law and wills & estates law.
Josephine joined Carina Ford Immigration Lawyers in September 2021 as a paralegal whilst completing her Practical Legal Training. As a paralegal, she assisted supervising lawyers in both administrative and legal tasks, including the handling of client correspondence, preparations of visa applications and drafting submissions.
Since moving into her role as a Lawyer, Josephine continues to assist with employer sponsored, humanitarian, citizenship, partner, student and skilled visa applications, as well as cancellations and refusals. She has enjoyed playing a larger role in preparing matters before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal as well as Ministerial Intervention requests.
Josephine’s interest in migration law has developed through her studies and professional experience. She was admitted as a practising lawyer in March 2023.
