Graduate Lawyer
Emily completed her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Criminology at Deakin University in June 2023. Prior to joining the team at CFIL, she volunteered as a Legal Assistant in the areas of disability discrimination and migration law.
Emily joined Carina Ford Immigration Lawyers in March 2022 as a paralegal whilst completing her university studies. She was responsible for assisting with administrative, receptionist, and accounting tasks. She is also responsible for training new staff members as they join the team.
Since moving into her role as a Lawyer following her admission to practice in March 2024, Emily continues to assist with a wide range of visa applications, including protection, partner visa, employer-sponsored, and is part of the team who assist vulnerable clients involved with the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing.
Emily’s interest in immigration law has grown from her education and professional experiences, and she looks forward to continue developing her knowledge and skills.
