Thuy was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria as a practising lawyer in September 2018 after completing her Bachelor of Laws at Deakin University and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Leo Cussen.
Since commencing her career at CFIL in October 2017, she has considerable work experience in a number of matters, ranging from the primary application stage to matters before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. Thuy has also worked on and assisted in highly complex matters including visa refusals, character cases and visa cancellations.
Thuy’s passion for immigration law stems from her own family background. Her experience guarantees compassion and professionalism in the way she approaches her work. She takes pride in maintaining attention to detail in her diligence and preparation of all visa applications and always strives for the best possible outcome for her clients.
Thuy is also fluent in speaking and reading Vietnamese.
Thuy is a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards 2024. Winner to be announced in March 2024.
